Jacqueline Roscheck started to teach very early. At the age of 19 she gave violin lessons at the conservatory Freiburg and was only seven years later assigned Professor of this master class. Roscheck has been teaching at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 1986, where she was assigned university professor in 2000. She has worked as a lecturer at many master classes such as the Wiener Musik Seminar and the international music festival in Francesco Beletrao (Brasil, summer 2015). Moreover, she is experienced in being a jury member at music competitions (Prima la musica). As a soloist and prime violinist Roscheck has performed in the US, Brasil, Japan, the Middle East, Europe and has worked with many ensembles, i.e. the Wiener Bohème Quartett, the Wiener Concert Verein (chamber orchestra), Ensemble Instrumental de Villars-sur-Glane and Wiener Opernball Ensemble. As a violist she gave concerts with the Ensemble Musica Orphea (Basel). In addition, she contributed to the production of many CD recordings. Roscheck has performed with many musicians (Rudolf Buchbinder, Henryk Szering, Philippe Entremont, Boris Pergamenschikow) and conductors, amongst which are also Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Leonard Bernstein, Vladimir Fedosejev, Ulf Schirmer and Marcello Viotti. Furthermore, she was concertmaster of the Orchestra St. Augustin Wien, the 1. Österreichischen Frauenkammerorchesters, the Ensembles instrumental de Villars sur Glane (Swizzerland) and during a Japan tour of the orchestra Allegro Vivo under Bijan Khadem Missagh. Roscheck has been leading the Vienna Strauß Company (with members of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra) since 2002. In 2003 she launched the ensemble “Kaleidoskop”, which plays classical, romantic and contemporary music. The ensemble has been invited to several festivals: Lindau, (Germany), Bregenzer Festspiele), Trapani, Iglesias (Italy), Santorin, Loutraki (Greece) St-Gallen, Rieder Schwallenberg (Germany), Drammen (Norway). Moreover, concert tours brought her to Dubai, Brasil, France, Turkey and Swizzerland. Throughout her career Roscheck has been playing with Karl Heinz Schütz (solo flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra), Johannes Flieder (solo violist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra), Erik Ummenhofer (solo cellist at the Vienna Symphony Orchestra), Walther Schulz (solo cellist at the Vienna Symphony Orchestra), Gerald Pachinger (solo clarinettist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra), Mathilde Hoursiangou (pianist) and Anna Magdalena Kokits (pianist). Due to her dedication to contemporary music, Roscheck has interpreted works of Johanna Doderer, Elfriede Aichinger, Silvia Sommer, Richard Dünser, Rainer Bischof, Johannes Maria Staud, Herbert Willi, Dirk Dase and Helmut Schmidinger.
