Zamir Kabo was born in 1988 in Tirana (Albania) in a family of musicians. At the age of five he received his first piano lessons from his mother, violin teacher at the state high school of arts in Tirana. With 18 years old he graduated with best degrees the high school and than entered the Music Faculty in Skopje (Macedonia) under the guidance of Prof. Boris Romanov. In 2011 he finished his Bachelor and Master studies in Piano with top degrees.
During his studies Zamir has also participated in different Masterclasses with Professors such as: Arbo Valdma, Francesco Monopoli, Dmitri Bashkirov, Giovanni Umberto Battel, Mikhail Voskresensky, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Bernd Goetzke, Elena Margolina-Heit, Boris Romanov, Stanislav Pochekin and Jacques Rouvier. Zamir has been invited to give piano recitals in different Festivals worldwide; “Nei suoni dei Luoghi”-Italy, “Ohrid Summer Festival”-Macedonia, “We gather friends”-Moscow, Festival de la Ribagorza, Fundacion Eutherpe (Leon) - Spain, “Mirabell Konzerte” – Salzburg and also he appears regularly in his birth country. Also Zamir had the opportunity to play different times with the “Albanian Radio Television Orchestra” under the baton of Yury Sobolev and Oleg Arapi. He is first prize-winner at the EPTA competition (Albania) and EUTERPE (Italy).
In 2017 Zamir finished his second studies of Master in piano at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Since September 2017 till September 2019 he held a position as an Assistant at the Mozarteum. Zamir is currently taking classes in Fiesole-Italy with the legendary pianist Elisso Virsaladze.
