
Canadian pianist and conductor Timothy Brown studied at the Faculty of Music – University of Toronto with Greta Kraus and Andre Jaunet. After completing his studies, he moved to Europe, where he quickly made a name for himself as a conductor and director of studies, and since then has also been in high demand as a lieder accompanist and chamber musician. Timothy Brown can look back on numerous engagements with the Vienna Chamber Opera, the New Opera Vienna, as well as with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Tonkünstler Orchestra Niederösterreich, the RSO Vienna, the State Orchestra Rheinische Philharmonie, the Calgary Philharmonie Orchestra and the Bregenz Festival. In addition, international tours have taken him to Japan, Russia, the USA and a number of European countries. He is a sought-after adjudicator at international singing competitions and the holder of numerous prizes, awards and scholarships.
