25.07.2021 - 31.07.2021

Professors:

Lisa Penninger Lisa Penninger works as a flute (transverse flute) teacher at the Salzburg Musikum and on the Upper Austrian State School Music Project. Her pupils have already achieved significant success in competitions at a national level as soloists and in ensembles. Thanks to her intensive work with Upper Austrian youth wind instrument music and her teaching activities with various courses and seminars, she can rely on valuable experience in dealing with children and young people in a musical context. In addition to her teaching activities, Lisa is active in various orchestras and ensembles such as the Innviertler Symphony Orchestra, the Salzburg Mozart Players, the Salzburg Orchestra Soloists, the Ried Symphonic Wind Instrument Orchestra, the Salzburg State Wind Instrument Orchestra, the Salzburg Sinfonietta da Camera and many more. Concert tours have taken her as far as the United Arab Emirates. Lisa Penninger, who was born in Ried im Innkreis, received her first transverse flute lesson at the age of 9. Following ten years of education at the Upper Austrian State School Music Project, she began her instrumental and singing teacher training studies in the transverse flute department of the Mozarteum University, Salzburg with Beatrice Rentsch and Bernhard Krabatsch, which she passed with distinction in 2012 together with both her major subjects, Conducting Wind Instrument Orchestras and Music Theory. Lisa was able to gather important musical experience in various ensembles and orchestras even whilst studying. In addition to her appointment as a transverse flute teacher at the Salzburg Musikum, she also obtained a Masters with distinction at the Mozarteum, Salzburg in Bernhard Krabatsch’s classes in 2015. Our youth course for flute offers you a great opportunity to intensively prepare for an upcoming competition, such as Jugend musiziert, Prima la Musica or an upcoming exam, to deepen and improve already started or finished programmes and to spend a week of musical experiences with children and young people from all over the world.
The diverse contacts with the students will awaken your sense of fun in making music. Listening to other students participating in youth courses for young pianists and string players at the same time will widen your musical horizons.

We all live, sleep, eat and make music in a really cool castle in the Upper Austrian Innviertel.
