House rules
The participant is committed to follow the instructions of the management and the house rules as well as the rules for the use of the jointly owned facilities. He understands that the management is entitled to exclude each participant from the classes in case of violations of the house rules and/or of the rules for the use of the jointly owned facilities without any claims of (also partial) refund of registration fees or course fees. Further, participants at the age of 14 or younger have to take note that it is strictly forbidden to leave (even short-term) the 'Landesbildungszentrum Schloss Zell an der Pram' without permission of the management. Besides the active attendance at the classes the participant's independent and autonomous practizing is an essential precondition for the success of the course. A permanent supervision of minor participants during their practising is not possible due to the number of participants and due to the necessity to enable an undisturbed practizing for all participants. It is therefore emphasized that any responsibility for the organizer and his collaborators is excluded for any damages caused by the participant, or in cases of non-compliance of instructions or of violations of the house rules and/or of the rules for the use of the jointly owned facilities, provided that the organizer or his collaborators are not chargeable for intention of for gross negligence, or if a damage is covered by an insurance company.
Terms of withdrawal
a) According to § 11 FAGG, a 14-day withdrawal period applies from the registration date, in which a free cancellation of the registration is possible. The statutory deadline is extended by the Austrian Master Classes in an obliging way for further 14 calendar days.
b) Refund of the entire registration and course fee according to. Invoice in case of lack of places or cancellation of a course by the course management.
c) In case of cancellation of a course by the organizer due to force majeure, for example in case of a pandemic or related official injunction, the course fee already paid will be refunded. The registration fee is expressly excepted from it.
d) If you register for a course AFTER the regular registration deadline, only the 14-day statutory withdrawal period and free cancellation according to § 11FAGG applies!
e) The registration for a youth course is valid for the respective course and not for a certain lecturer. A possible teacher wish is considered as far as possible and availability with pleasure, however, is not binding for the organizer. The allocation of another lecturer is under no circumstances a reason for a notice of departure of the course or an allowance of the course fee. This clause is valid only for youth courses.
f) Right of representation: A lecturer has the right to be represented by a teacher of equal quality at any time. Representation by another lecturer is under no circumstances a reason to cancel the course or refund the course fee. This clause applies to all master classes.
g) Activities in the group such as chamber orchestra, sight-reading playing for pianists, flute ensemble, rhythm training, workshop concerts and the final public concert are subject to the applicable pandemic regulations. In the event of cancellation, equivalent replacement activities are offered. Discontinuation of the aforementioned activities does not under any circumstances require a proportionate refund of the course fee.
Accommodation
The accommodation of the PARTICIPANTS is essentially held at Schloss Zell an der Pram and is organized by the course management. If possible, the rooms will be arranged according to your wishes (if announced up to 2 weeks before the start of the course) by the course management.
Due to the specified room and bed situation, rooms and/or requests for accommodation can only be accepted tentatively. The non-fulfillment of a requested room on behalf of the course management does not result in any right of withdrawal from the booked course. Single rooms are allocated according to the age of the students in descending order.
If Schloss Zell is booked out, participants over the age of 14 can also stay in a nearby guesthouse. (About 3 minutes' walk from Schloss Zell am Pram).
The price for the guesthouse is NOT included in the course fee. Please pay the fee on the day of arrival in the reception area of the Schloss.
Please note that accompanying persons are not allowed to spend the night or eat at Schloss Zell and are to organize other accommodation, where applicable. A list of nearby hotels and guesthouses can be found below as a download.
We also kindly ask for your understanding that in the case of youth courses, for purely educational reasons, the presence of accompanying persons (parents, guardians, etc.) is not planned or desired during the entire course.
Insurance
Participants must take precautionary measures for health, liability and accident insurance.
Risk
Participation in the course is at your own risk. Participants are liable for any damages caused by them.
Liability
Liability on the part of the course management for damages is excluded, particularly also in the event that a course has to be canceled.
Declaration of consent
I expressly agree with the publication of pictorial material and videos of my person directly connected with the Austrian Master Classes in print- and internet-media. This agreement is subject to be withdrawn any time.
For all disputes arising from or in connection with the business relationship disputes are governed by Austrian law to the exclusion of the rules of private international law and the UN Sales Convention as agreed.
Court of jurisdiction for all disputes from or in connection with the business relationship disputes arising Salzburg, Austria.
Basically, when in doubt, to errors in the translation, etc., the German version shall prevail!
