We pick up from where you are right now ...

Our youth course for violin, viola and cello offers you a great opportunity to intensively prepare for an upcoming competition, such as Jugend musiziert, Prima la Musica or an upcoming exam, to deepen and improve already started or finished program and to spend a week of musical experiences with children and young people from all over the world.

The diverse contacts with the students will awaken your sense of fun in making music. Listening to other students participating in youth courses for young pianists and flute instrument players at the same time will widen your musical horizons.

We all live, sleep, eat and make music in a really cool castle in the Upper Austrian Innviertel.

Invited are

Young violin, viola and cello players of all nationalities from the ages of 8 to 18 from preparatory and gifted classes or pre-colleges of universities, colleges, conservatories and music schools and from private lessons. Exceptions to the minimum and maximum age requirement are possible in consultation with the course management.

The course languages are German & English | the teaching languages of the respective lecturers you can find in their biographies.

Requirements

Free choice of the pieces you would like to work with on the course – preferably in agreement with your teacher. Depending on your age, you should be able to master at least light pieces from the intermediate-level repertoire for your instrument as well as the lower registers.

The following services are included in the course fee

Depending on the booking, about 40 minutes or 80 minutes private lessons daily | piano accompaniment (by ‘répétiteur’) | occasionally rhythm training in the group | occasionally chamber orchestra | stage training | workshop concerts | public student concert with free entrance | all classes are open for listening | use of seminar and recreation rooms | free-time supervisor | use of the ping-pong tables and the sports field | all participants receive a participation diploma.

Sports activities such as football, table tennis and volleyball are as much part of the recreational program as games such as "Halli Galli", "Phase 10", Activity, etc.
