Music school Erding

Teaching languages: German | English

Mirjam Brüllmann has been teaching violin and viola at the Kreismusikschule Erding since 2014 and at the Musikschule Buchbach since 2016. One focus of her teaching is on chamber music and ensemble playing, drawing on her many years of experience with the Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin (2005-2013). She expanded the Kreismusikschule Erding's “Spielkreis” (a group of students at various levels of ability who meet regularly to play together) into the two large ensembles “Streichhölzer Dorfen” (beginners and advanced).

During her time with the Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, she was involved in the recording of “Spheres” with Daniel Hope for Deutsche Grammophon. Concert tours with this orchestra took her to Austria, Italy, France and South Korea, among other places. Mirjam Brüllmann could also be heard in the shows “Qi” and “Yma” at the Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin. In addition to her orchestral activities, Mirjam Brüllmann also taught at the Hans-Werner-Henze Music School in Berlin's Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. Before moving to Berlin, she was engaged at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern for two seasons.

Mirjam Brüllmann is part of the management team at the Steinfurt Cultural Forum, where she is responsible for events and school partnerships from October 2024.

Mirjam Brüllmann completed her studies in 2001 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich with a teaching diploma. She attended masterclasses with Denes Zsigmondy, Aaron Rosand, Markus Wolf and Christian Sikorski.
