The Italian Tommaso Lepore graduated in 2006 from the Conservatorio N. Sala in Benevento with Prof. Gabriella Sisillo.  He completed his education with master classes with Pier Narciso Masi, Konstantin Bogino, Robert Kettelson, the Nuovo Quartetto Italiano, Michele Campanella and Homero Francesch.  From 2006 to 2008 he studied piano at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome with Prof. Franco Medori and a master’s degree in musical performance at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Prof. Filippo Gamba.  In 2008, the Lazio Region awarded him the best piano degree of the year.  He has won numerous piano competitions in Italy and Switzerland, including first prize at the 5th Piano Competition “Città di Pesaro” and the 10th Piano Competition “Città di Rocchetta”, as well as second prize at the Competition of the Basel Orchestra Society.  His concert activities to date include numerous solo recitals and chamber music concerts, mainly in Italy and Switzerland, including at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the music hall of the Stadtcasinos Basel and the LAC Lugano.  As a companion, he worked in various master classes in Italy and Switzerland.  With the production “Anna Karenina” in 2014, he began his engagement as a solo-repeater at the Bremen Theatre.  Since the 2017/18 season, Tommaso Lepore has been engaged as a co-reheiter at the Landestheater Linz.  He has worked on numerous opera productions under the direction of various conductors such as Markus Poschner, Bruno Weil and Olof Boman.  In 2019, he recorded the song cycle “Winterreise” by F. Schubert for Preiser Records with baritone Martin Achrainer. Since the 2020/21 season, Tommaso Lepore has been engaged as a piano coach at the Vienna State Opera.
