The Russian pianist Elena Glik graduated in solo piano, chamber music and vocal and instrumental accompaniment at the Institute of Arts in Kharkov (Ukraine) with her teacher Irina Karminskaja. During her studies she already gathered her first professional experience as an accompanist at the Opera Studio of the Institute of Arts and worked as a soloist at the Kharkov Philharmonic Orchestra and performed in numerous concerts in Russia and the Ukraine. In addition, Elena Glik attended master classes at the Moscow Conservatory with Anatolij Vedernikov, Victor Merzhanov and with Prof. Vitaly Margulis (MHS Freiburg).
Her participation in the 1st International Bach Competition in Saarbrücken led her to Germany, where she continued her studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen with Boris Lvov and graduated with distinction in 1995. Elena Glik works as an accompanist with talented young artists, including vocal students at the Salzburg Mozarteum, and has also been active as a piano teacher since her studies, for example at the Camerloher Gymnasium in Freising and at the Bavarian International School in Munich.
Since 2019 she has been working as an accompanist with Prof. Christoph Strehl at the Austrian Masterclasses in Zell an der Pram. Elena Glik works and lives in Munich.
