Nao Huang

Nao Huang received her first piano lessons from her mother at the age of three. She studied in Japan at the Music School of Osaka Music College and the Kyoto Municipal Horikawa High School Music Department. She received a university diploma in solo, pedagogical and chamber music from the Toho Gakuen School of Music Performances and gained her first professional experience as a manager at the piano department and répétiteur at Takarazuka Music Research until 2010. In Japan she performed in chamber music ensembles and as an accompanist. Among others, she has performed in Asia and Europe with the Taiwanese cellist Hsin-Kang Huang as a duo since 2012. She released her first CD with concertmaster Koichi Hasegawa from the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra in 2010. In the same year she came to Europe and began studying in Vienna at the Prayner Conservatory with Prof. Elisabeth Bollmann. Nao Huang studied at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz in the master's programme Piano Chamber Music with Prof. Till Alexander Körber and Prof. Michael Korstick. She completed her master's degree with distinction in 2016.

She has taken courses with Peter Lang, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Miyoko Yamane Goldberg, Walter Fleischmann, Alejandro Geberovich, Laszlo Gereb, Yoshie Kora. She often plays at different kinds of concerts (e.g.: chamber music, recital, new music, children's concert and in the orchestra), as répétiteur at entrance and final exams at Bruckneruni, at competitions for instrumental and singing and at many master classes in Austria and Germany. (Kepco Masterclass cooperation with Anton Bruckner University, Gutenstein Masterclass, Erben Music festival Masterclass, La Cellissima etc...). From 2015 to 2017 she worked as a repetiteur at the Institute for Voice, Singing and Music Theatre at Anton Bruckner University. Since 2017 she plays as a temporary accompanist in cello class with Prof. Pözlberger at Anton Bruckner Private University. Since 2018 she teaches piano EF, chamber music and accompaniment at Gustav Mahler Private University (Carinthian State Conservatory).
