Preamble
The master class for chamber music for Violin, Viola, Cello, Piano and Flute offers preformed ensembles the possibility to prepare intensively concert recitals, contests or exams or just to prepare a program of free choice for your pleasure. The participants have the possibility to work together for a week in the magic ambience of castle Zell an der Pram and to exchange experiences.
During this week, you will have the chance to interact with international well known professors and others taking part in the course. Set in the harmonic atmosphere of Castle Zell an der Pram, snuggled in picturesque Upper Austria, this course creates the ideal environment for intensive work, progress with your instrument, and the advancement of your ability to work in a group.
Invited are
Students and young students from music universities, music colleges and conservatories | advanced students of music schools and private lessons | professional musicians | instrument teachers.
Semi-professional musicians/amateurs willing to engage in working from a professional point of view will be admitted only to a limited extent for the time being. Additional places can only be booked after the deadline of May 15, according to available places.
The courses are open to participants of all nationalities over the age of 14. Exceptions to the minimum age requirement are possible in consultation with the course management.
Free program selection from the solo and concert repertoire.

Following obligations are offered and contained in the fee
Daily ensemble lessons of at least 40 minutes, depending on the instrumentation of the ensemble | free use of the pianos and practicing rooms | all classes are open for listening | occasionally lectures or chamber orchestra | performance training | workshop concerts | public final concert with free admission | use of the common rooms | use of the table tennis tables and the sports field | additional offer Shiatsu (to be booked separately) | active participants receive a participation diploma.

Registration
Late applications will be considered if possible, but due to high demand and limited space, we recommend to submit your application in time.
Final Concert
The class ends with a public concert in the Freskensaal of the castle. The participants will be selected by the professors.
Leisure-Time Activities
There are sports grounds and a gym for ball-games, table tennis, etc. You will certainly have time for swimming or a trip to explore the surroundings of Zell an der Pram.
