Gereon Kleiner was a member of the Swietly-Klaviertrio, was teaching at the Conservatorium for Music in Vienna from 1987 to 1990 and since 1990 at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg. He won several prizes and scholarships at competitions in Bonn, Vienna, Barcelona, Senigallia and in Finale Ligure. He performed many concerts and recordings as a soloist, as a chamber musician and as a vocal accompanist in Europe and Japan. (f.e. with the "österreichisches Ensemble fïür Neue Musik", Mozarteum- Orchestra Salzburg, Camerata Academica of the Mozarteum). Gereon Kleiner studied Piano and chamber music in Stuttgart, Vienna and Salzburg with Lieselotte Gierth, Hans Kann, Roland Keller and Erika Frieser. He completed his studies at master classes with A.Jasinski, Z.Sliwinski, J.Uhde and B.Ringeissen in Salzburg, Gdansk and Weimar.
