Sung-Ah Park

Sung-Ah Park, a pianist originally from South Korea, is a highly sought-after accompanist for instrumentalists and singers. 

After completing her master’s degree with honors at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig, she has worked primarily with singers and instrumentalists, as well as performing as a soloist. Her concert activities have taken her to several cities in Germany as well as to India, Japan, and South Korea.

She has been the official pianist and lecturer at the International Saxon Singers’ Academy in Torgau since 2015.

In 2016, she served as pianist for the CD production “Landerkennung” with the Ensemble Nobiles.

Since 2017, she has been sharing her extensive knowledge—which she has also impressively demonstrated in several competitions—as a full-time vocal solo coach at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig.

From 2018 to 2023, she held a teaching position at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, and since 2021 she has also been affiliated with the Nuremberg University of Music as a lecturer.
