Erina Nakasaku

Erina Nakasaku was born in Japan. She studied piano and music education at Kobe College, and from 2004-2007 she continued her studies at the Vienna Opera Conservatory in the class of Maestro Maksimiljan Cenčić, where she graduated with distinction. Further studies followed with Prof. Kristin Okerlund, principal correpetitor of the Vienna State Opera. After graduation, Erina Nakasaku worked at the Prayner Conservatory from 2007-2020 as a répétiteur for the opera and conducting classes as well as for the orchestra there.

In 2012 and 2013 Erina was an accompanist at the Oscar Straus Singing Competition in operetta. Its jury included KS Hilde Zadek, KS Heinz Zednik, KS Adele Haas and Herbert Prikopa. Since 2015 she has been an ensemble member of the Vienna Baroque Orchestra and a répétiteur at the WienerMusikseminar, International Summer Academy of the Mozarteum University and Lech Classic Festival. She works with KS Ileana Cotrubas, KS Sona Ghazarian, KS Walter Fink, em.o.Univ.-Prof. Brigitte Stradiot(MDW), Univ.-Prof. Zoryana Kushpler (Universität Mozarteum Salzburg) and several singers.

Erina Nakasaku gives concerts in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Japan. As Musical Director of Operettenbühne Wien, she staged Wiener Blut at Theater Winterthur in Switzerland in 2022 and completed an extensive tour throughout Germany with her ensemble in 2023.
