Christine Roider loves and lives the versatility of her profession: as a chamber musician, orchestra musician, music educator and cello teacher.

She completed her studies (Cello Performance) with Michael Sanderling in Frankfurt am Main and with Reinhard Latzko in Vienna. Studying instrumental pedagogy with Bruno Weinmeister complements her training.

Her piano trio Trio Artio made a name for itself as the first “Featured Ensemble” of Jeunesse Austria, has already performed at the Vienna Musikverein and was selected by the Austrian Foreign Ministry for the “New Austrian Sound of Music” funding program. With her crossover cello quartet cellharmonics she performs mostly in Germany and has already played at the Beethovenfest Bonn, among others.

As an orchestra musician, Christine Roider plays regularly with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra, the Solistes Européens Luxembourg and the Ensemble Wiener Collage. Tours have taken her to many important festivals (including Rheingau Music Festival, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Bregenz Festival, Carinthian Summer, Styriarte) and, in addition to many European countries, to the US, Canada, Japan, Thailand, South Africa and Morocco. Christine Roider is enthusiastically dedicated to teaching music. She regularly works with well-known directors and music educators in productions by Jeunesse Austria, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Vienna Musikverein and the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
