Wonji Kim-Ozim taught from 1996 to June 2003 at the University of Music in Vienna and the University of Music in Berne as assistant to Prof. Igor Ozim. Since October 2003 she has also been assistant to the master class of Prof. Igor Ozim at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg, where she after her habilitation in 2019 now leading her own violin class in all degree courses. In the summer semester 2011 she taught as a visiting professor at the University of Art and Design Graz. She's 1. Winner of several national competitions and is also a prize winner of the Migros Cooperative Federation. She has performed as a soloist with the Seoul Symphony Orchestra, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, the Radio Symphony Orchestra Moscow under the baton of Vladimir Fedosejev, the Zurich Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Howard Griffiths, the Hungarian National Chamber Orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss and performed at the Sandor Veress Festival in the Tonhalle Zurich as well as at the festival "Tous les Violons du Monde" under the patronage of Sir Yehudi Menuhin in the Casino Bern. She has performed chamber music at the Herbsttöne Salzburg Festival with guitarist Eliot Fisk and as a member of the string quartet (Salzburg Mozart Soloists and others) to name but a few. Wonji Kim, born in Seoul, South Korea, received her first lessons from Prof. Li-Song. From 1989 to 1991 she took private lessons with Prof. Max Rostal. She then studied at the Bern Conservatory in the soloist class of Prof. Igor Ozim, where she graduated with distinction in 1994.
