Eberhard Staiger, born in Stuttgart, studied violin at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Helmut Zehetmayr, Prof. Jürgen Geise and postgraduate studies. in the master class with Prof. Ruggiero Ricci. Master classes with Dmitry Sitkowetzky, Jean Jacques Kantorow, Igor Oistrach and Tabea Zimmerman complemented his education. Intensive concert activity in various chamber music formations including DUO ARTE with pianists Andreas Weber and Gianfranco Sannicandro, Michael Haydn Quartet Salzburg and as soloist. Teaching and pedagogical projects at the Musikum Salzburg and in courses. Again and again pupils from his class were able to participate very successfully in Prima la Musica Austria, Jugend musiziert in Germany or even in international competitions. Other aspects of his pedagogical work include preparing students for admission or, in some cases, for final examinations at music universities as well as accompanying coaching of music students.
