Cornelia Wögerer works as a piano teacher and répétiteuse at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and the music school Ried im Innkreis. She received numerous prizes at the competition Prima la musica on both state and national level, and was also honoured with the special award for chamber music. Wögerer has not only played in concerts with members of the Brucknerorchestra Linz and the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna (RSO), but also performed as a soloist with violinist Evelyn Höllwerth (duo piano/violin) and the Schubert symphony orchestra (Upper Austria).
Since April 2012 Wögerer has been teaching as a lecturer for piano solo and piano accompaniment at the Austrian Master Classes. Moreover, she managed the concert series “Triolino” and the “Schlosskonzerte Kammer am Attersee” in Upper Austria for the Jeunesse. Wögerer received her first piano lessons at the music school Linz and thereafter studied at the Bruckner University Linz (Prof. August Humer, Sven Birch) and also at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Prof. Harald Ossberger), where she received a scholarship in 2009. She continued her studies (Magisterstudium Instrumental- und Gesangspädagogik) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and graduated with honours. Afterwards she studied chamber music with Prof. Till Alexander Körber at the Bruckner University Linz. In addition, Cornelia Wögerer attended master classes given by internationally renowned pianists such as Gottlieb Wallisch and Georg Steinschaden.
